An earthquake is a destructive natural event that occurs due to sudden shaking in the earth's crust that cannot be prevented. Earthquakes have caused many residential areas to be adversely affected and even the destruction of many people's shelters from ancient times to the present. As it can be seen, earthquakes are a natural event with devastating effects that cause great loss of life and property. The fact that Anatolian lands are located on young land lands and that they were formed in the 3rd geological time are the main reasons that increase the earthquake risk factor. As a result of the fractures and compressions that started in the 3rd geological time, fault lines started to form and these fault lines completed their formation in the 4th geological time. If we look at the main fault lines in our country, we will briefly explain the magnitude of the earthquake risk factor. Our country; It is located on three major fault lines: the North Anatolian Fault Line, the East Anatolian Fault Line and the West Anatolian Fault Line. Turkey, where many earthquakes have been experienced due to its geographical location, has been shaken by severe earthquakes at various time intervals since the 1500s. The first known of these took place in 1509 and was called 'The Little Apocalypse'. After this earthquake, in which 130 thousand people lost their lives, Turkey was shaken by the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Erzincan on 27 December 1939 and in which 33 thousand people lost their lives. At the end of 60 years, the 7.4 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which was Gölcük, on August 17, 1999, caused the death of 17 thousand 118 people. Although an earthquake is an unavoidable and unavoidable natural disaster, especially in Japan, which is one of the main earthquake countries, it has been achieved to minimize the damages of this natural disaster with the laws and regulations and the training given. With the project we will carry out in Sakarya, we aim to minimize the damages of this natural disaster, even though we are a country that is at risk for earthquakes. The problems we have addressed, the needs and the goals we have achieved with our project are as follows. -We raised awareness about earthquake We raised awareness about earthquakes. -We have provided an understanding of the destructive effects of the earthquake in the light of statistical data. -We raised awareness and awareness about first aid. -We have provided the understanding of the importance of the earthquake issue on a national and international scale. -We made it possible to learn what to do before the earthquake, during the earthquake and after the earthquake. - We have drawn attention to the importance of earthquake drills and ensured that they are carried out regularly. -We ensured that especially the younger generation had high-level knowledge on emergency response and first aid, and transferred this knowledge to other individuals by transferring this knowledge to their lives. -We ensured that individuals of all age groups learn basic first aid interventions regardless of their age. -We fixed the well-known mistakes about the earthquake. -We have ensured that vital issues such as earthquake bags are comprehended. -We tried to create a road map on what needs to be done and to minimize the destructive damage in the earthquake in our country. - Again, by drawing attention to the earthquake issue in our country and around the world, we think that we have created a motivating force for countries to regulate their laws. -We have enabled non-governmental organizations to increase their activities regarding earthquakes, and we have seen that they are also willing to do so.
