Objectives

To elevate the educational quality of beauty specialists in the industry to an international level, establish common approaches in terms of educational and sectoral collaborations across nations, discover diversities, ultimately increase their employability, and contribute to the quality and capacity development needed by the sector. To provide our trainees with high-quality vocational education with up-to-date information about equipment, devices, materials, and cosmetic products used in the industry, ensuring their employment, and fostering their personal development to give them a sense of being global citizens. To ensure that education is provided at a standard that has the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to meet the demands of the business world. Moreover, this project aims to benefit women’s employment since beauty salons are spaces where a significant proportion of employees are women. To increase and internationalize collaboration by creating a beautiful and reliable international umbrella with institutions in the field of vocational training, thereby contributing to the internationalization strategy.”

Background

The beauty industry is constantly evolving, creating new job opportunities, and the number of institutions providing education in this field, employees, and manufacturing companies is increasing day by day. This growth in the industry has led to certain problems. Issues such as the quality of beauty centers, the quality of vocational training centers, the professional and personal development of beauty experts, and the lack of a university in our country offering a four-year undergraduate education mean that the responsibility of training instructors/experts falls on vocational education institutions. As BDA, our mission is to improve the quality of vocational training, to provide our trainees with high-quality vocational education with up-to-date information, and to create employment opportunities. For this reason, by collaborating with international institutions, we aim to contribute to the quality and capacity development of the beauty industry by training professional beauty experts who have received good education in accordance with EU standards, to observe and examine innovative and complementary studies in different institutions in EU countries, and to transfer knowledge about regulations.
