Objectives

In order to be able to act in a rapidly changing world and train learners accordingly, we strive for our organization and its members to see themselves as lifelong learners. We want to promote openness and develop the necessary courage to act in dealing with our environment. In order to meet the major challenges of developing people in the organization without exhausting them and raising awareness of our daily actions, various sustainable skills are required. To ensure that everyone in our organization benefits, we strive on the one hand to implement a culture of "We". This means developing a leadership style that strives to see the big picture and ensure that the success of the individual is effective in the context of the whole. Students should also learn a wide range of skills for the VUCA world. Educators not only take on the role of knowledge mediators, but also act as mentors, advisors and supporters. They help to set goals, identify resources and provide constructive feedback. In order to achieve these goals, teams need to be qualified at various levels.

Background

The middle school is celebrating its 5th year of existence. Our school development plan demonstrates that students are provided with a broad range of skills that enable them to navigate a rapidly changing world. These skills include environmental awareness, communication abilities, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration. Both our school as an organization and the individuals within it should focus on lifelong learning and continuous development. The dynamics in the world necessitate dealing with uncertainties, changing structures, complexity, and information overload. To develop these skills at all levels, there needs to be an atmosphere of "We live what we teach." To act as role models, individuals should develop leadership competencies externally and also self-leadership qualities, including interpersonal skills, openness, flexibility, trust, and possessing a wide range of innovative practical methods. We, as adults, aim to serve as role models to create a supportive learning environment for students, imparting the necessary skills for them to successfully navigate the VUCA world.
