The focus of the project 2022 was primarily on implementing new mobility formats, increasing the dissemination of the Erasmus+ priorities and using the budget provided in the best way possible. In total, 216 mobilities were completed in this project period, an increase of 18% compared to the previous project. This second project period of the new Erasmus+ generation saw the first coordination of a Blended Intensive Programme at BOKU University, which is consistent with the trend towards more short-term mobilities. 78% of all mobilities were student mobilities and 22% were staff mobilities, with some students completing a short-term or blended intensive mobility. Semester stays and traineeships as well-established Erasmus+ funding opportunities continue to be very popular. In addition, a significant increase was recorded in staff training mobilities for BOKU staff. Overall, 23% more mobilities than planned were carried out and effective financial management enabled a budget utilization of over 99%. Despite these achievements, we were faced with existing and new challenges in the implementation of Erasmus Without Paper during this project period, such as the implementation and optimization of Online Learning Agreements, the digital conclusion of Interinstitutional Agreements or the smooth data transfer to the Beneficiary Module.
