For both the EU and the BMBWF the internationalization of higher education is a key focus in the European Education Area strategic framework. The internationalization strategy of the PH OÖ in the Ziel- und Leistunsplan 2022-2024 , along with the BMBWF's HMIS2030 plan for higher education mobility, emphasize the importance of creating mobility opportunities for all involved. Through this project, the PH OÖ provided valuable mobility experiences for staff, strengthening its internationalization efforts and deepening global education understanding at its institution. The main objective of this mobility program is to collaborate with partner institutions to allow teachers and staff to exchange international expertise and academic experiences while expanding their knowledge of the educational or administrative systems in those institutions. The administrative staff is given the opportunity to visit and continuing education institutions and partner institutions in order to improve their language as well as administrative skills. Upon returning, participants are encouraged to share their insights through lectures and discussions with their PH OÖ colleagues. Moreover, the PH OÖ has prioritized the development of projects and collaborations in specific fields of expertise. With several partnerships already in place, the PH OÖ is working to expand these relationships and initiate new collaborative projects through the program. Administrative staff benefits from the mobilities in relationship to their administrative responsibilities and contacts. In the context of this program, the PH OÖ also welcomes Incoming students from partner universities to study or to participate in a long-term or short-term study exchange in Linz. The Incoming students are offered the opportunity to get to know the Austrian educational system more in-depth.
