Objectives

The Erasmus+ 131 Project 2022 was seen by Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) as a valuable tool to achieve the objectives outlined in the new Institutional Strategy 2030. International experience for staff and students was considered crucial for personal development. Consequently, CUAS was committed to supporting those interested in gaining international experience through exchange programs. Additionally, CUAS aimed to use these mobilities to establish networks with universities from the European University Alliances, as becoming an active member of the alliance was a key objective for CUAS. The collaboration within these alliances was intended to serve as a catalyst for other forms of internationalization within curricula, such as Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs). Accordingly, the project budget was allocated to initiate pilot projects in this area. Furthermore, integrating students is a core goal of the Institutional Strategy 2030, and thus, the project budget was also used to enhance interaction with incoming students.
