The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences is the coordinator of the European University Alliance “E³UDRES²“ and pursues an internationalisation strategy that is anchored in the following areas: 1) Improvement of physical and virtual mobilities for students and staff, 2) Close collaboration with relevant partner institutions, especially with partners belonging to the “E³UDRES²” alliance, 3) Participation in national and international research projects, 4) Implementation of enriching (knowledge transfer) projects that promote internationalisation at home, 5) Strengthening of intercultural competencies, and 6) Broadening of perspectives from the regional to the European dimension. The St. Pölten UAS strives to further expand its international activities both qualitatively and quantitatively. In this context, the focus is on promoting an open culture of learning and innovation. Emphasis is put on reinforcing interdisciplinarity, internationality, and innovative capability in order to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based, open society and create the basis for lifelong learning. This project was realised in full compliance with the aforementioned goals and strategies of the St. Pölten UAS.
