Since its founding, the FH Kufstein Tirol has pursued the strategic goals of internationality, mobility and multiculturalism. The modernization and internationalization strategy of the FH Kufstein focuses on the mobility of students and university staff. One goal of our internationalization strategy is to emphasize students the relevance of international and intercultural skills and to foster it by giving them the tools to develop these skills through a mandatory semester/year abroad and internship that may be completed abroad. With the compulsory semester abroad for full time Bachelor programme students, the FH Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences supports the European ideas, values and integration, promotes the participation of young people in democratic life in Europe and internationally and thus invests in the development of knowledge, qualifications and skills of individuals, under the aspects of equal opportunities and inclusion. The FH Kufstein Tirol forms a global university network with over 225 partner universities and pursues an international orientation in the education of its students. Promoting mobility in the areas of studying and teaching contributes to the implementation of the internationalization strategy.
