Objectives

We wanted to make full use of the opportunities offered by the 2021-2027 programme period to strengthen the professional dimension of FH Salzburg (FHS) in the area of internationalisation. One of the most important elements in this respect is the internationalisation strategy of FHS for the period 2023-27, which was developed during the project period and officially confirmed in summer 2023. The strategy gives special priority to student and staff mobility and the international orientation of the university in general. Main objectives of the project were therefore to provide as many students and staff as possible with access to international experience and to support all areas that are important for the internationalisation of the institution (development of english courses for staff members, faculty and researchers; offer of language courses and intercultural training for students). Additional aims were to: - address students for whom mobility is not easy to manage. This mainly affects part-time students and the group of students with fewer opportunities. - make FHS more attractive to international students and improve the "welcome culture" of the institution. This was done, for example, by restructuring the range of courses on offer. - improve structures and processes created in order to administer the Erasmus+ programme 2021-27 and consolidate quality. Practical examples include the digitisation of processes (implementation of Mobility Online, creation of interfaces between the Beneficiary Module, Mobility Online and internal digital tools), the use of experience in the implementation of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) or the promotion of international mobility to countries not associated with the programme.
