The development of this project highlighted several key points. Firstly, it focused on occupations involving basic computer or digital knowledge, as well as high technical abilities, that were not greatly affected by the COVID-19 crisis because they could easily transition to remote work. On the other hand, many young professionals faced challenges in showcasing their online skills and authenticity in the job market. Due to pandemic-related closures and quarantine measures, young people had to rely on online courses and remote work. This raised some concerns about their technical abilities to access online resources effectively and the need for individuals to enhance their digital skills to meet the requirements of their work. The main idea of the youth exchange was to raise awareness among young participants about the importance of technology and digital skills. The aim was to help them become more competitive in the labor market by providing opportunities to learn essential digital skills and practice them. The project also emphasized the importance of boosting soft skills, such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and adaptability,, as these skills were crucial for effective collaboration in the digital future. Additionally, the project recognized the need for different levels of digital skills, including basic skills like web research and online communication, mid-level skills like digital graphic design and marketing, and soft skills necessary for collaboration. To sum up, the project's objective was to equip young people with digital skills, in different levels, and provide them with entrepreneurship opportunities, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8 of achieving decent work for all and inclusive and sustainable economic growth. The project was implemented in the consortium of six youth organizations representing Austria, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia, Romania, and Italy with the goal to reach the following objectives: The project aimed to motivate people to learn, improve, or upgrade their digital skills for educational, job-seeking, or career advancement purposes. Participants were encouraged to learn basic, intermediate, and advanced digital skills, as well as soft skills. The project inspired participants to utilize digital technologies to express their creativity and provided them room to transform their ideas into reality using digital tools. The objective was for participants to gain an understanding of the framework of digital competence and its relevance in today's world. Young people were encouraged to accept change and learn how to adapt to it. The project aimed to raise young people's knowledge of the use of digital and social media as a tool for job recruitment. It focused on developing practical WordPress abilities, design skills, and the ability to use a variety of online creative tools. Materials were developed to provide better motivation for young people through non-formal education. The project aimed to connect technology and the education process. It aimed to create positive motivational outcomes to support engagement, research, writing editing, and presentation of work. Participants were given the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and work in mixed cultural groups, thus improving their teamwork and leadership skills. The project sought to strengthen participants' awareness of the Erasmus+ program and all its benefits through the non-formal education process. It empowered them to become engaged citizens and explore other opportunities. To achieve these objectives, we made adaptations to the program's workshops. For instance, we organized a 'Creativity Competition' to stimulate participants' creativity using digital tools. They were divided into teams, each representing a team of entrepreneurs who presented their 'invention' utilizing various digital tools. Additionally, we conducted a “Human Library” activity to enhance their understanding of the Erasmus+ program, where group leaders were n the role of more experienced Books, and the rest were listening to their stories and experiences.
