In line with the ECHE, the European Policy Statement of the PH Vienna, and the strategies of the Ukrainian and American partner universities (UNM), the KA171 project 2022-2025 was successfully completed. The focus was on incoming students, which met the needs of the partners. Due to the war, mobilities from Ukraine had to be adjusted. The circle of multipliers was specifically expanded for staff mobilities to Vienna. Thanks to the very good language skills, exchange and further development were possible at a high level. Progress was also made in the recognition of stays abroad and crediting practices. In the USA, high study costs are still an obstacle to mobility. The publications in Ukrainian media and the successful internships of Ukrainian students at the International Office of the University College of Teacher Education Vienna should be emphasized positively. These experiences should also provide lasting impetus at the home universities.
