Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) has a strong history of collaboration with various higher education institutions in Africa and Asia. The further development of these relationships was a strategic goal for the institution's faculties, which is why projects with this geographical focus were given priority. Additionally, the new regional strategy for the region of Carinthia identified an interest in attracting qualified professionals from South America. In response, the School of Health Sciences and Social Work initiated a project with a newly identified partner in Brazil.
