Objectives

This Erasmus+ International Mobility (E+IM) project aimed to enhance the internationalization of the University of Graz (Uni Graz) and its partner universities as well as the transnational cooperation between them through academic mobility. The project sought to strengthen and expand existing collaboration and establish new partnerships with universities in countries not associated with the Erasmus+ program. The partner universities were chosen based on the overall strategic priorities of Uni Graz and the needs at faculty and department level, contacts in international networks and Joint Programs. For example, Uni Graz cooperated with universities in Southeastern Europe, which has been its strategic focus region since 2000. Additionally, links with universities in several other countries were initiated or strengthened in answer to specific priorities in different disciplines. Furthermore, the aim of this Erasmus+ project was to provide students and staff of Uni Graz and its partner universities with the opportunity to have an enriching study or work abroad experience in a well-organized and serviced framework. All in all, Uni Graz cooperated with 18 partner universities in 11 countries.
