Objectives

The project aimed to support and advance the goals outlined in the Internationalisation Strategy 2021–2026 of the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien (UASTW). Specifically, the project sought to broaden the scope of international activities available to students, staff, and study programs at UASTW. By offering low-threshold access to a diverse portfolio of international opportunities, the project intended to embed internationalisation into all curricula, ensuring that all students and academic staff engage with global perspectives. Key objectives included enhancing intercultural competencies, developing foreign language skills, and increasing awareness of the challenges and opportunities in international contexts. As a scientifically based and practice-oriented higher education institution, UASTW strives to prepare future engineers and researchers for both national and international careers. The project was set out to foster high-quality, innovative international cooperation in study, teaching, and research, promote academic mobility, and strengthen awareness of European and global diversity among all members on campus.
