The aim of the project was to promote the internationalization of the participating universities and to strengthen collaboration in the fields of education and research. The focus was on student and staff mobility in the disciplines of polymer sciences, engineering, and sustainable technologies. Through these exchanges, competencies were built in key areas such as the circular economy, renewable energy, and digitalization, including artificial intelligence and machine learning. The project aimed to expand the capacities of the partner institutions, strengthen international networks, and contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of clean energy (SDG 7) and water and waste management (SDGs 6 and 12). In addition, participants developed intercultural competencies, and long-term cooperation between JKU and its partner universities MMU, DeKUT, and KNUST was fostered.
