This project centered around building strong, multi-level partnerships with select international institutions. At the heart of the collaboration with the Universidad Mayor in Chile and the Australian Catholic University in Australia was the promotion of student exchange. These partnerships facilitated a dynamic flow of both incoming and outgoing students, creating valuable opportunities for academic and personal development. During their time abroad, students engaged with different educational environments, gained exposure to diverse teaching styles, and developed important social, intercultural, and professional skills. Upon returning, they brought this enriched perspective back to their home institution, where their experiences contributed to the wider academic community and fostered knowledge transfer among peers and faculty. Overall, the project was a key step in advancing FH Kufstein Tirol’s internationalization goals. The active participation of students and staff in global mobility programs reflects the institution’s commitment to embedding international engagement at the core of its strategic development.
