Objectives

With the KA171 Call 2022, FH Salzburg (FHS) applied for mobility grants with 7 partners in 4 regions, building on existing collaborations and adding new partners. Kosovo: Expand cooperation beyond design and wood technology to all faculties, creating inclusive student and staff mobility opportunities. Update curricula and strengthen ties with industry to enhance skills and employability. Albania: Establish student and staff exchanges in health sciences to improve training quality, introduce modern teaching methods, and develop research linked to healthcare institutions. Georgia: Combine Georgian craft traditions with Austrian design education through exchanges and workshops to develop technical, artistic, and conceptual skills. Israel: Enable balanced exchanges to expose participants to diverse curricula and promote collaboration that integrates Israel’s innovation with Austrian design expertise. South Africa: Develop a consecutive business degree programme, expand wood technology cooperation, and increase mobility to improve employability and promote inclusion. FHS aimed to enhance skills, intercultural competence, institutional capacity, and build sustainable academic and industry networks.
