Objectives

The Private University College of Education Augustinum in Graz (PPH) and Gordon Academic College of Education (GACE) sought to establish a partnership to help teachers (and subsequently students) develop their personal and professional skills, expand academic areas and methods of international teaching, and promote the effectiveness of management and administration (IT, IO). The project focused in particular on the exchange of expertise in the STEAM field, innovative teaching and learning methods, and democratic values in interreligious exchange. GACE's international strategy was to develop and expand its international networks with universities in Europe and to offer international teacher training programmes to promote the professional development of its students and staff. The PPH also sought to provide new opportunities for staff and students and to establish new collaborations, particularly in the field of diversity and religious education, as this was the only international project during this period.
