The KA171 project at FH JOANNEUM aimed to provide equitable access to mobility opportunities for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by offering targeted scholarships. The project integrated a global perspective into teaching and research, fostering an international and intercultural learning environment and creating diverse forms of mobility, including study, internships, short- and long-term placements, and virtual programmes. Incoming students were able to develop their academic and personal competencies, thereby improving their employability and intercultural awareness. Mobility for teaching and administrative staff was supported as a key driver of curriculum internationalisation, focusing on building international networks, enriching teaching with global perspectives and developing pedagogical and intercultural competencies. Additionally, the international dimension of KA131 complemented the Erasmus+ KA171 Call 2022 project by facilitating outgoing student mobility to Programme Countries, thereby broadening opportunities and reinforcing FH JOANNEUM's overall international profile.
