By implementing this project, the University of Vienna and its project partners wanted to consolidate and deepen existing Erasmus+ partnerships and establish new partnerships in specific areas. The aim was to offer students and teachers from all participating universities opportunities to gain international experience and network internationally. In addition, these mobility programs were intended to contribute to internationalization at home. In partnership with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and, above all, the University of Chicago, exchanges at the administrative and management level were intended to lead to even stronger institutional networking, an exchange of good practices, and improved mutual understanding of the respective administrative processes. For the University of Vienna and its partners, these mobility projects are an integral part of their respective internationalization and cooperation strategies and important components of the education and training of their students and teachers. This enables them to acquire skills that are relevant both in academic careers and in other labor markets.
