In the context of the second year of the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme (2022), UMONS has improved and strengthened the implementation of its European strategic policy and formulated the priority axes of the Charter on inclusion, of digitalization, eco-responsibility and citizenship education in the operationalization of mobility activities. The 2022 project's systemic context has provided more favorable conditions for reviving mobility activities and implementing its strategic commitment to encourage the academic community to tackle the cross-cutting issues of ecological transition, energy, digital, and social. This project has also made it possible to contribute to our objective of forming students into world citizens and enriching their curriculum through the consolidation of European and international collaborations in terms of education, research, and innovation. In 2022, the Erasmus+ programme celebrated its 35th spring. UMONS took the opportunity to celebrate this anniversary by organizing a big party with the entire university community and its Erasmus students. An opportunity to remind us, in these uncertain times, that Europe is a chance and that its democratic values must, more than ever, inspire everyone.
