Located in the heart of Europe, Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles (now known as UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles) acknowledges the importance of having great attractiveness and influence at the international level. This is why our university enables students from all our Bachelor programs to study for a semester in a partner institution within the European Union in order to develop and realize their European citizenship, of which few are aware. Furthermore, students from our translation-interpretation faculty are obliged to go on exchange for a semester during their third year of their bachelor's degree. The opportunities that these partnerships and exchanges offer to students and staff are multiple. Indeed, beyond the most obvious objective of learning or improving mastery of a foreign language, this often allows them to stimulate the understanding they may have of other cultures, to develop international networks, all contributing to increasing the employability of our students as they take their first steps on the job market. Every year, more and more students apply to have such an experience.
