Development and Implementation of Simulation-Based Education • Train both Rwandan and Belgian staff and students in best practices in simulation-based learning (including high- and low-fidelity simulations). • Co-create simulation scenarios and a digital resource database usable in various educational and clinical contexts. • Develop and pilot a “Train the Trainer” course to ensure sustainability of SBE at the University of Rwanda. Promote International and Intercultural Learning • Embed intercultural competence development through blended and physical mobility, as well as virtual exchanges. • Engage students from Rwanda in short-term blended mobility and Blended Intensive Programmes in Belgium with European partners. • Enable staff exchanges for teaching and training on simulation practices, intercultural pedagogy, and collaborative course design. • Improve clinical education, ultimately elevating the quality of healthcare delivery in Rwanda and beyond.
