We, a group of young Belgians from the Maison des Jeunes d'Orp-Jauche, wanted to follow up on the youth exchange project in which we took part in September 2021. We were welcomed to Reunion Island by a group of the association "Voir plus loin ensemble". Naturally, we wanted to continue the adventure and welcome them in turn. We chose as a theme for this project the entry into working life which affects young people of our age. Hence the title "And then, what do we do next?". We are at a pivotal moment which marks a transition towards life choices, with an orientation to choose for our professional projects. We wanted to take the time to question ourselves, to identify any obstacles in this search for orientation, but also to share thoughts and courses of action. For this, it seemed relevant to us to organize workshops on the theme in addition to the usual collective activities and visits, but also to meet resource people outside our walls. In addition to the intercultural discovery and the pleasure of getting together, there was a real desire to work together on a common and meaningful theme.
