The implementation of the "Beyond The Borders" project with France, Belgium and Morocco (third country not associated to the program) brought together more than 66 participants with few opportunities on the following aspects : geographically, socially, financially and culturally but also in terms of disability. We wanted to create the conditions of a micro-society that reflects the interaction within cultural diversity in order to promote living together and experience the degree of tolerance of each participant. The general objective of this exchange was to raise awareness of 66 different participants to intercultural dialogue by using non-formal participatory and inclusive activities. The specific objectives were mainly focused on : + make all participants aware of the existence of their own stereotypes and prejudices that drive us from our childhood to our socialization in everyday life by using non-formal education. +Improve the understanding of this awareness in order to allow in the long term to disable our prejudices and our stereotypes. + Get to know ourselves first better in order to meet the others without any previous judgments. + Deconstruct the complexity of words such as Identity and Culture. Those Words are actually necessary to identify and understand to better address the notion of intercultural dialogue in our current societies. Societies that are increasingly multicultural but not necessarily intercultural, even within Europe. The notion of intercultural dialogue is so important within our organization that we have made it a major topic in our European exchanges. Intercultural dialogue fosters environments of respect, inclusion and participation when it comes to bringing together young people from different backgrounds.
