We wanted disadvantaged young people to experience that they can be successful in their path to integration into the labour market, both in Limburg and in Morocco. We wanted to do this by realising a concrete project that is part of the fight against global warming and through the integration of various groups. Specifically, we would raise money in Belgium for the drilling of a well and we would plant trees together with the two groups in Morocco on the edge of the desert. At the same time, we wanted to let underprivileged young people from Limburg experience through contacts with their peers from Morocco that they still have many opportunities on a global scale and challenge them to make full use of them. Through contacts with their underprivileged peers from Belgium, we wanted to make young people from Morocco feel that not everything is rosy in the "rich West" and challenge them to see opportunities in their own environment.
