The project "Trial & Error" was our first exchange with and for youngsters with fewer opportunities. Therefor we wanted to partner up with a more experienced organisation in the matter of youth exchange. This being 'Kamaleonte'. We got in touch with eachother during a staff mobility where 2 of AjKo's youthworkers participated in a training course (Adventure Europe, Germany) given by 2 of Kamaleonte's staff members. With this project we had 2 main objectives in mind that link to the Erasmus+ programme regarding Youth Exchanges. Our first objective was to help build inclusive societies. Our aim was to raise cultural awareness among the youngsters and try to start deconstructing prejudice by facilitating and organising time and place where they could meet in a safe haven. The second objective of this project was promoting mental health and well-being. Through outdoor education; being in nature and adventure therapy, we wanted to empower and strenghten our youngsters, make them think about their future, learn to reflect, challenge themselves and learn to enjoy nature.
