We wanted to offer young people a space and tools to encourage them to become active and responsible citizens, fully aware of their rights and duties, and thus contribute to the vitality of their city. We speak of active citizenship because it is possible to be a passive citizen, benefiting from the services and security offered by the city without participating in its development or sustainability. Our project aims to create a space that stimulates democracy in order to promote a cohesive society, ensuring social cohesion and living together in diversity. WEB Radio Television Mix-Up is a place where young people take on their role as committed citizens, offering them a space to : • Make their voices heard: Enable every citizen and group of citizens, whether young people, collectives or neighborhood committees, to express their opinions and concerns. • Express themselves: Young people had the opportunity to share who they are, express their opinions on society, formulate their demands and propose solutions to contribute to its evolution. • Get involved by taking part in collective actions, young people demonstrate that “to speak is to act”. • We aimed to promote democratic values and break down all barriers :geographical, linguistic, cultural, intellectual or economic. We wanted to make Mix-Up RTV a true tool for total inclusion. • Finally, we wanted to encourage young people to discover the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, in order to foster their inclusion and commitment.
