Through the implementation of the project "Innovation in the modern school - new perspectives" we aim to achieve a multifaceted transformation in education, incorporating modern technologies, promoting collaboration and improving learning for both teachers and students. Teachers to acquire innovative practical professional skills in accordance with the European Development Plan. Integration of modern IT tools in the educational process, which meet the European standards for quality and security of education. Creating an inclusive learning environment through the use of new IT tools and innovative teaching methods, which will increase student motivation and engagement. Implementing STEM and project-based learning in the classroom and fostering critical thinking and creativity. We aim to disseminate the results of the project and share successful teaching methods, innovative approaches and resources developed during the project to inspire and support other teachers in their professional growth. We aimed to improve the participants' language skills as a means of improving their communication abilities and increasing their confidence in using the language.
The project "Innovations in the modern school-new perspectives" is carried out in the context of the global trend of digitization of education and in the context of European quality standards. Varna Maritime High School is one of the oldest vocational schools in Bulgaria with a rich history and traditions, open to innovation and improvement of teaching methods and use of IT in education. An innovative STEM center has been operating since 2022, which has changed the school education. The idea of the project unfolded in the integration of Stem content in teaching and use of modern IT resources and improvement of educational results. Within the framework of the project, the teachers and students of Varna Maritime High School had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with innovative teaching methods. The project participants visited other schools in Europe, where they exchanged experiences and created intercultural cooperation, increased their European self-awareness and strengthened their sense of European citizenship. The high school actively collaborates with higher education institutions, is supported by business and seeks to inspire teachers beyond the duration of the project.
