Objectives

The integration of the new ICT in PGMET is an excellent initiative to improve the educational process. Allowing teachers to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of information and communication technology allows them to adapt to the modern needs of students and the educational community. Using WordPress as an educational and career guidance tool is very beneficial. By creating blogs and websites related to educational and career guidance, we can provide valuable information and resources to students, parents, and other interested parties. This may include information about educational programs, career opportunities, career guidance, tutorials and guides, and other useful materials. Knowledge of the latest technologies is essential for the successful use of the Internet and ICT in education. Teachers must be informed about new innovations and have the opportunity to be trained in them. This allows them to develop their competencies and apply them in the educational process, which ultimately leads to an improvement in the quality of teaching and learning.

Background

We applied for this project to train our teachers according to the needs of the future world. Over the past two years, under extraordinary circumstances, we have had to change the way we teach and learn. These changes were temporary and we then returned to traditional teaching. What is really urgent and important is to achieve the digitization of education. This way of working responds to sudden emergencies in a professional manner. There is still much work to be done to develop and complete the process. This means that training staff in digital skills is essential for them to provide the high quality of leadership that education requires. It is also important to build the capacity of both students and the educational community to address the issue as a whole.
