Background

In the world of digital and electronic society, the teachers of tomorrow are leaders in the community. They must be increasingly well-prepared with knowledge and skills to use ICT and coaching strategies in the classroom to improve the quality of learning and their formation as community leaders. Continuing qualification in another European country is the most effective method of lifelong learning. The integration and daily use of ICT in education is a must. For the third year now, our school alternates distance learning with face-to-face training, and teachers need permanent upgrading of their skills and competencies for working with various applications and platforms. Improving their competitiveness requires more and more language and professional knowledge and skills for: creating electronic content, video tutorials, websites and blogs, sharing resources, participating in a global educational network helping interested parties reach their full potential. One of the main priorities of Secondary Technical School "Dr. Nikola Vassiliadi" is increasing the qualification of the pedagogical specialists by stimulating the exchange of good practices and training in partnerships under the ERASMUS+ program.
