The main objective of the project "Learning through constructing and simulation of real situations" was to train pedagogical specialists and to acquire knowledge and skills to use working with constructors and constructive material in compulsory forms of education in kindergarten. Construction is an intellectual activity, extremely attractive to children. The project activities enabled the children to master key competences enshrined in the European Framework of Reference, namely: Language competences in the mother language; Communicative competences for communication in foreign languages; Competences in the field of mathematical and natural sciences and technology; Digital competences; Learning skills; Social and civic competences; Ability to express through creativity. We managed to increase the motivation of children to work, to support the development of creative thinking, communication skills, taking responsibility, independent action, teamwork.
Kindergarten "Buratino" combines innovation and quality for modern pre-school education. We use the Montessori method, which is based on observing the child in his natural environment and accepting him as he is. The basic principle of Montessori pedagogy is to encourage the child to self-education, self-training and self-development. In Montessori groups, the child is taught trial-and-trial with the help of a specially designed environment with materials that include self-control. The task of the Montessori teacher is to help the child organize his activity in order to walk his unique path and realize as much as possible his potential. The course "Learning through constructing and simulation of real situations" corresponds to the program and the goals of our kindergarten. Our team realized that in order to meet the challenges and changing requirements of the world, we must ensure new quality training with a European dimension. Construction and work with constructive materials are not a new method in pre-school education, but under the modern conditions of technology development and pedagogical approach, this method becomes relevant and must pass to a higher level.
