The school implements the project to modernize the educational process in accordance with the school strategy and the European development plan, namely increasing the qualifications of teachers and correspondingly, the quality of education. The ultimate goal is for students to become successful young people, educated in a comfortable and calm learning environment, where they can perceive new information, analyze it, synthesize it and memorize it for the long-term. One of our goals was to improve soft skills for teachers to apply in various spheres of our society, as well as to develop social and intercultural competences, critical thinking and media literacy. Another goal was to increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning, thus supporting the professional development of teachers through the promotion of the application of new technologies and innovative teaching methods using social media in various disciplines in the learning process in order to make learning more engaging for students. Teachers strive to improve their way of teaching according to the set goals by mastering key competencies, using different approaches, building a positive learning environment and attitude. This was successfully achieved.
We are a municipal school with the following programmes: Electrical Equipment of Elevator and Lifting Equipment, Electrical Installations, Computer Equipment and Technologies, Medical Equipment, Applied Programming, Software Engineering, Cinema, Audio and Video Systems, Renewable Energy, Robotics. Since 2004, our school has successfully implemented a number of projects under European and national programmes. Students are aged between 14-19. In recent years, our graduates are not only Bulgarians, but they are also from different nationalities - Russia, Ukraine, Syria, Spain, therefore the students are educated in a multi-ethnic and multinational environment. For this reason, teachers and students need to be able to communicate and work in accordance with innovative, different approaches in modern education, which is increasingly becoming a global education. Therefore, the realization of this project prepared the teachers to educate the students and improve their progress to be competitively capable in the globalizing world, and to realize and proceed in their future work with full potential.
