With this project, we wanted to improve the educational process in the kindergarten by using computer information technologies in the learning process. Through the introduction of alternative methods and teaching techniques, we wanted to achieve higher efficiency in the education of kindergarten children in all educational areas. Our goal was to stimulate children's cognitive activity through the application of innovative methods and to improve their motivation for participation in the learning process, and to make the assimilation of learning content and practical skills more complete. In order to achieve the goals we set, it was necessary to increase the qualification and key competences of the staff regarding the use of information and computer technologies in the education of children in kindergarten, by actively engaging in an exchange of ideas and experience with colleagues from other European countries and sharing good practices in using ICT. Through the application of innovative methods and concepts in the education of children and the use of computer technologies, we sought to place children, through a fun and interesting way, in the role of active users of ICT and not passive observers in the full learning of knowledges.
The kindergarten is the most important institution after the family, which guarantees the development of the personal, physical, emotional and cognitive competences of our children. Our kindergarten is managed by the European Commission's call to rethink education, by investing in skills to achieve better socio-economic outcomes, to renew activities to build the skills needed for the 21st century. The knowledge, skills and experience gained from the project are very effective for the development of our organization. The modern vision of developing the educational system requires it to be adequate to the development and changes in all spheres. The introduction of new information technologies and the modern concepts of "innovation" and "interactivity" necessitated the modernization of education, increasing the quality of teaching in accordance with the new realities of modern education. Our kindergarten had little experience in using new technologies in teaching. We need teachers who use new innovative teaching methods, network with their colleagues from Europe. The project made it possible to increase the qualification of our teachers through European cooperation and mobility.
