We were guided by the following objectives: To build skills for organizing activities with students related to their learning skills, for practical implementation of various tasks and for self-management, by involving a team of teachers in teaching the subject; To build an environment that allows the development of the creative potential of students, an environment adequate to the style and the way of perceiving the world of the young generation; Enhancing lesson dynamics, teamwork and learning from each other based on project-based and STEAM lesson activities; Integrating knowledge across subject areas and building long-term units of study that allow the potential of both teachers and students to be unleashed.
Anton Strashimirov Primary School prioritizes work on innovative teaching content, lessons and programmes, as well as on its internationalization. The management team is young, with a new outlook on the vision of the organization and the way of teaching and learning. We understand that teacher preparation is part of making change and ensuring lasting positive results. Participating in the Erasmus+ training courses was a natural extension of the team's strategic work. Knowledge and use of the methodology has led to participants gaining the knowledge and skills to approach learning in a way that supports each student's individual and social development, learning skills, creativity and enterprise in work at all levels and types of education. The activities implemented under the project have increased the skills of the participating pedagogical specialists in the use of new technologies in the learning process and their successful integration in the subject areas.
