With the implementation of the project, our main goal was to achieve the personal development of our teachers and experts. We wanted to support and stimulate the personal development of our teachers by participating in specialized educational programs that offer new methods and pedagogical approaches. Our goal was to provide the school's staff with an opportunity for international experience and exchange of best practices, which would contribute to enriching their professional and cultural horizons. Our desire was to strengthen and develop international partnerships and connections in order to improve the quality of the education we offer, as well as to provide the opportunity to enrich the experience as a result of intercultural exchange and joint cooperation with organizations from Europe. With these strategic goals, the school set itself the goal of strengthening its educational mission and creating better conditions for sustainable and quality education that meets the needs and expectations of all participants in the educational process.
The team of SU "Lyuben Karavelov" firmly believes that in order to achieve a higher quality of the educational process, it is necessary for teachers, in addition to specific professional experience in the specific discipline, to also have flexibility, emotional intelligence, adaptability and a proactive attitude towards the student. Real learning is an experience recreated from one's own experience. And when the teacher has a positive attitude and motivation, he passes it on to his students. It has been proven that people learn with all their senses, through different stimuli. Therefore, teachers need to include in their teaching a wide range of techniques and methods to reach more students. One of the ways to improve our teachers is by enriching their knowledge about European school education, by creating and maintaining more active contacts with colleagues, educational institutions and organizations from Europe. The realized mobility helped to get to know and learn new teaching methods, stimulate learning and develop personal competences among students. The mission of the project was for our teachers to develop new skills in order to be able to create prepared personnel with a European self-awareness.
