Objectives

The main objectives we set ourselves when we have developed this project were in line with the announced priorities of the Erasmus+ programme for 2022, exactly: to provide support to students to improve their learning outcomes - knowledge, skills and competences, in order to support their personal development, participation as active citizens of society and their employability on the European labour market and beyond it; to support the professional development of our school team in order to stimulate innovation and improve the quality of training; to bring a European dimension in working methods, as well as international recognition, so that institutions will provide activities and programmes that better meet learners' needs; to ensure better recognition of competences acquired through placements in a real work environment abroad through the European validation measure Europass. On the other hand, the project helped the school team to bring innovative approaches, ideas for improving the methods and content of practical learning in school, thanks to the experience that is borrowed from the German education system.

Background

International mobility projects provide an opportunity for the target groups to gain valuable experience and new skills that meet European standards in order to facilitate the smooth integration of young people into the labor market. Vocational training for students in secondary education, carried out in a real work environment, is associated with a number of benefits not only for the learners, but also for the whole school institution and provides an excellent opportunity for increasing quality training in the sector. For pedagogical specialists, it provides an opportunity for exchanging good practices. The project provided an opportunity to share and apply good practices related to the implementation of more and more practical activities for the benefit of students and teachers in order to develop their competences and improve learning outcomes. The project supports our main objective within the European School Development Plan: to develop the professional and personal potential of students by providing quality vocational training for the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences, in the context of European practices, necessary for successful employment and active citizenship in modern societies.
