In accordance with the goals set in the project proposal, the school management and vocational training teachers, wanted first to increase the quality of initial vocational education and training. The approaches to achieve the goal are strengthening the key competences needed in future work, language learning and digital skills. During their stay, the trainees received the support of the mentors, which allowed them to develop specialized work skills. The best practices in planning, organization, implementation and control over all activities related to transport, storage, forwarding and logistics activities, with the aim of better organization and efficiency of managerial activity was shared with them. It was of particular importance to introduce to students possibilities of marketing strategies to create customer profile and market segmentation. The second goal was to promote knowledge about the shared European heritage and diversity. The approach to achieving the goal was to empower students through conversations in and out of workplaces to have an opportunity to improve their foreign language skills, to communicate freely with ideas.
In the professional class of our school, personnel are prepared for the main spectrum of activities in the field of transport, warehousing, forwarding and logistics activities, and customs office. All companies operating in the specified activities increasingly are looking for ways to optimize their activities to reduce current costs, which compensates rising fuel prices (a major expense in these activities). The statistics shows that businesses in the industry are increasingly looking for staff with broader knowledge and accordingly opportunities to do more activities. Considering that the transport is the "blood system" of the national economy, the idea and purpose of the project proposal was: the participants to gain an idea, in real working conditions, of the role of the economic logistics as the main factor and prerequisite for an efficient economy. In this way they built on knowledge and skills acquired in the theory classes of the profession. Learned over time of mobility marked the beginning of their adaptation to the new realities and the new demand of labor market.
