Sports school is located in the town Sandanski. It was opened in 2011. The school teaches students from V to XII grades, aged 11 to 19 years, 147 in number and divided into 8 classes. From the academic year 2013-2014, professional training for students acquires the professional qualification "Assistant Coach" by type of sports: football, wrestling, judo, karate and swimming. School graduates receive a diploma and qualification in the "Assistant-coach" profession, with the possibility of professional realization, both in Bulgaria and in EU and in the USA. Today, the majors in which there is great interest from prospective high school students, their parents, businesses and the general public. The project will offer talented young people the opportunity to fully develop their potential, including work skills, while at the same time taking the opportunity to upgrade their professional qualifications. The main emphasis in the training content is focused on increasing the professional development of the participants through the transfer of European practice, which includes the use of various tools and techniques to cumulatively increase the participants' learning commitment.
