Background

With the project "Cooperation in the transfer of good European practices" the main objective of our Secondary school was to support the professional and personal development of 24 students from the specialities Economic Informatics, Small and Medium Business, Organization of Tourism and Leisure, to provide practical and logistical support in their training in Portugal and France in a real working environment, which would increase their suitability for the labor market. The project successfully fit in with the profile of the high school and the context of our city and district. The difficulties in the economy feel tangible in our region and their overcoming requires a higher professional culture, striving for continuous improvement, improving the competitiveness of young people. The need for qualified staff – competent, enterprising, adapting to the rapidly changing requirements of the labor market motivates our desire to put students in a real working environment, in another European country.
