The following objectives were set: 1. Creation of conditions for students to acquire specific skills and realization in the field of interior and graphic design, according to the current needs and trends of the labor market; 2. Integration of modern principles and standards for environmental sustainability in the field of interior and graphic design, as well as in the educational content and activities of PGD "Elisaveta Vazova"; 3. Creating conditions for career development and unlocking prospects for a successful professional career realization of students.
Elisaveta Vazova Professional High School of Design is a school with a 65-year history. Established as a Technical College in textile technology, and later with the name Technical College of Textiles and Clothing, our professional school prepares specialists for textile, spinning and knitwear production, and for the last fifteen years - in the specialties "Fashion Design", "Interior Design", "Computer Design of Fabrics" and "Graphic Design". The high school. The project "Innovations and trends in interior design" of the PG in design "Elisaveta Vazova" was provoked by the need for professional training in design to have a more modern and digital appearance, which motivates students for realization in the field. As a high school that recently offers training in the field of interior and graphic design, our main deficits that provoked the project were: Insufficient understanding of digital learning and insufficient use of digital resources; the unfavorable image of professional education in Bulgaria; need to adapt the focus of the professions to the current expectations of the labor market. As well as the need for greater confidence and motivation of students for future development in the field of design.
