Objectives

WIth the project "Make No Stress, Create Art" we aimed to teach young people with diverse cultural, economic and social background to recognize and manage mental and emotional health issues through digital education and work-life balance. The topic ofthe project is important and relevant nowadays, due to challenges our society faces. After the Covid-19 pandemic, the level of emotional burnout and negative emotions has grown. The statistical data also showed that the stress level at the work has risen. Implementing this project, we wanted our participants to get more information on the topic and find answers, by using art and seeing different personal and cultural perspectives. Our objectives were to explore types of mental health issues, creative crisis and emotional burnout of young people and promote mental health exercises like yoga and meditation among the youth with diverse cultural, economic and social background. Using non-formal learning methods, we provided new skills and tools for participants to challenge the health and sport problems identified during the activity that were relevant in each of the participant countries. We analyzed the main digital tools, online platforms, social network resources that can be useful in solving mental and emotional problems. It was relevant during the project to have the diversity to solving mental health problems and considering digital art as a means of solving such problems. Creating a media product (online photo exhibition, short videos, podcasts) that can be used in practice to balance work and personal health was also one of our objectives. We taught the participants how to use digital tools to create media. For each participant in the project to share their experience and knowledge to broaden their horizons, to see how it can be different. Being familiar with foreign languages and cultural differences helped the participants get closer to break down fears and cultural barriers. The participants had the opportunity to be actively involved in the project, which contributed to the achieving of our preset goals. Our project provided also the opportunity to strengthen participants` digital competences and learn more in depth the usage of Internet in regard to developing critical knowledge and skills necessary for modern life. The created digital product (comics, podcast, official video and TikTok videos, photos) is accessible via the Internet and can be useful for all young people that are dealing with issues, concerned by our project.
