Objectives

By implementing the project objectives, we wanted to offer easily accessible practices to support primary school teachers in their work to improve children's self-esteem. We also provided guidance to parents on how to increase children's emotional intelligence and confidence. In the Handbook, we collected best practices for building children's confidence across the EU and presented them in teacher training so that teachers could use them to strengthen children's emotional intelligence and confidence. Through various activities in the workshops, parents received additional support on how to help their children develop emotional intelligence. Children's actions were encouraged through various contacts with peers and activities to strengthen socio-emotional skills.

Background

This project aims to increase the confidence of primary school children and to use the newfound confidence throughout their lives. Through the project, we focused on the causes that lead to low self-esteem in students. We planned and implemented various activities in school, through which we tried to neutralize some of the causes. In this way, we helped students strengthen their emotional intelligence, confidence and overall well-being. We trained teachers to help students learn from their mistakes and not be afraid of failure. Students can now identify how their way of thinking can affect their learning. We also organized workshops for parents on the importance of their children's emotional intelligence and taught them how to encourage emotionally intelligent behavior in their children. General needs: The main needs that we met through the implementation of the project are the acquisition of skills and knowledge of teachers and parents on how to develop children's self-esteem by providing them with an innovative, accessible source of good
