Background

Digitization in all spheres of life transfers a significant part of human relations from the real to the online space, which gives rise to a number of digital risks that its users face. Children and adolescents are undoubtedly the most vulnerable to these dangers. On the one hand, through the use of video content platforms, social media, apps, etc., children at an early age are significantly ahead of conventional education and are developing their fundamental digital competencies through trial and error. In the process, often due to inexperience and lack of deeper knowledge, they become victims of digital bullying. On the other hand, there is the considerable amount of time they spend in the digital space without exercising real, adequate control by parents and school. Through the implementation of the "S@fe future" project, working solutions were developed for the prevention of digital bullying among children and adolescents, aimed at building a safe and secure digital environment that would allow them to develop and upgrade their digital competences, communicate and explore the possibilities of the online space without being at risk of becoming a victim of digital bullying.
