Background

Financial education should start with the beginning of formal education and continue throughout the student's school life.Financial education in schools should be carried out in harmony with national strategies.A learning framework should be established in schools in which objectives, learning outcomes, content, pedagogical approaches, resources and assessment plans are determined.Teachers should have the necessary training and resources on financial education,be aware of the importance of financial education and receive ongoing support and training in the teaching of financial education.Schools and teachers should be provided with easily accessible, qualified and effective learning materials and pedagogical resources appropriate for the grade level studied. There is a need to increase awareness and educational activities in this regard.Digital portal was created where students can test the financial skills they have acquired at school.Getting acquainted with financial terms at an early age and making some financial transactions will make them more ready for the future. As a result we received 3 specific outcomes, with which we conducted pilot trainings while contributing to targeted behavior formed in teachers and students.
