Needs for this application Based on collected information from the potential partners and a first Desk Research, the consortium made a Need Analysis and used it in the proposal. These results were in line with European measures in the EC from 17-01-2018 and the EU-strategy. That made the focus from YMOCH on increasing these key (social and digital) competences. The consortium came to the conclusion that a development and advancement of social and digital skills have an significant and important influence on European society. To improve the inclusion of the elderly generation into this society and to develop intergenerational cooperation and understanding, was the immediate objective of the YMOCH project. This objective is realized through developed learning and teaching content for the target group: VET-students with their teachers and the older generation. The focus was on the theme Culinary Heritage (CH). Needed competences for all target groups (VET students, their teachers and the older generation) were developed by activities, like joint cooking events. In the CH Web-App, all learning and instruction materials for intergenerational activities can be used and downloaded. See www.culinairy-heritage.eu
