Background

A key area of LCYouth's activities is social inclusion and the protection of the rights of people with disabilities. We aim to promote equal opportunities, acceptance of diversity, European issues and youth. Our organisation promotes activities in order to give young people the opportunity to develop skills, to volunteer and to gain knowledge in areas related to creativity and social cohesion. In addition, LCYouth supports a special program called "Transition service" that trains young adults with disabilities in life skills and vocational training programs, with the aim of their holistic social integration. This project is perfectly in line with the educational goals and visions of the organization. The activities provided knowledge and skills to different levels and target groups (people with disabilities, Trainers, Volunteers ). The ultimate goal was to develop skills, but also learn new methodologies and innovative ideas and practices in order to work more efficiently with people with disabilities and support them for an independent life. The participants gained new knowledge and skills in order to create a culture of change, inclusion and acceptance.
