Our project had the following goals: 1. To cultivate the critical thinking, creativity, communication and cooperation (4C's) of our students and faculty. 2. To create inclusive classes through the use of digital technology and Non Formal Education methods. 3. For our students to develop resilience, safety and enhance their social skills both within the school as well as in digital environments.
Our school focuses on environmental education, digital technologies, teaching democratic values, cultivating attitudes of active citizenship and improving learning outcomes through creativity, knowledge building with collaborative learning, differentiation and the involvement of all students in the learning process. The involvement of students in the process of learning and decision-making is continuous both at the school level and at the level of association with other partners such as the parents’ association, community authorities, universities, museums etc During the pandemic teachers and children have experienced the impact of quarantine both in education as well as in their mental health. The educational process had changed abruptly from face to face teaching to online teaching without the appropriate infrastructure and teacher training. This of course had and still has an impact on our students themselves. This generated more inequalities in access to learning and created more learning difficulties for children with disabilities or different ethnic background. Through our project we aimed to address these circumstances and improve the learning conditions for all our students.
