Objectives

City Unity College (CityU) was awarded with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for the period of the Erasmus+ Programme (2021-2027) and since it first started participating in the Erasmus Programme, managed to increase the number of mobilities and bring long lasting benefits to its participants and to the Institution. The general policy of CityU was to encourage more students and staff to benefit from the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme. Therefore, we established new inter-institutional agreements; developed a network of contacts for the promotion and expansion of the mobility programs; implemented a marketing plan to raise awareness of and increase participation in outgoing as well as incoming mobility among staff and students; organised information sessions for both staff and students, giving them the opportunity to be informed about all aspects of the project. The Erasmus+ Coordinator, KA1 was always available to students and staff for further direction and support. CityU managed to improve the level of key competences and skills, by straightening the cooperation with the labor market. Through enhanced policy cooperation between CityU and training providers, the college also took steps towards its internationalization policy.
