Through this KA171 project, the University of Nicosia wanted to grow its international partnerships and give students and staff the chance to experience life and learning outside Europe. With some universities, we started strong collaborations and even discussed future joint degrees. With others, especially in areas affected by war or instability, we couldn’t carry out the planned activities, despite our shared interest. The project gave our community the chance to explore different academic and cultural settings, build new skills, and bring fresh ideas back to our university. It also taught us to stay flexible and open-minded, especially when things didn’t go as planned. More than just travelling abroad, this project was about connecting people, sharing knowledge, and learning to work together across borders even in difficult times.
